THE UPPER HALL


The Upper Hall is a large space that is able to accommodate up to 100 people. It has full facilities including WC, kitchen (including a new cooker, refrigerator, urn, microwave, coffee makers and all crockery, glasses and cutlery), storage areas, seating. This hall is accessible for wheelchair users.


It is ideal for family parties, children's parties (it has a high ceiling which allows the provision of bouncy castles!) , christening events, wakes, meeting clubs, film nights, yoga/pilates clubs.


The main large hall can be hired for a one off or regular use. It can be hired for business or community events, either independently or together with the lower hall.


Please complete the booking form below for a quote. The hall rates are very reasonable so that the hall can be used as a resource for the local community with ease, and the committee are keen to support all community based endeavours as much as possible.

THE LOWER HALL (FISHER HALL)


The Lower Hall, also called The Fisher Hall, has its own separate access but can also be accessed from the Upper Hall. It has recently been renovated to provide a secure space for hot-desking or to be used as a meeting space. 


The Fisher Hall has 4 individual desks and a small communal seating area. The room has wifi (free to use with booking), a smart whiteboard, heating , easy access to WC, and the provision of some secondary screens to connect to laptop (on request), as well as a new coffee machine (free to use with booking).


The Fisher Hall can be hired for a morning session, an afternoon session, or all day for hot-desking or as a communal meeting space. It is to be booked out per desk and so please advise in the form below if you require sole use of the space. Charges start at £10 per desk per session but please make an enquiry for a bespoke fee for community-based use or regular bookings. The committee are keen to support community based endeavours as much a possible.

Conditions of Hire


  • Booking costs will be confirmed at the time of booking: where repeat bookings are made for a group or class, or the booking is supporting a community endeavour there will a discounted fee. Please ask for more information on the booking form.
  • Bookings must be made by completing the booking form below to secure the date and time.
  • No music should continue beyond 11 p.m. 
  • Preparation and clearing of the Hall is the responsibility of the Hirer and additional time may be arranged, free of charge, for this.
  • Alcohol must not be sold at any event. It can be served subject to donations or free of charge.

The Lower Hall Hot-desking


The Lower Hall (Fisher Hall) renovation is now complete. The space is a warm, welcoming and quiet space for the local community to hire out for hotdesking /working/ meeting space. There is free wifi, heating and coffee (honesty box) available. WC facilities are in the main hall.

Please get in touch if you would like to hire a space. Prices are purposefully very reasonable to support our local community. You can hire per session (morning or afternoon), per desk or the whole space.

Kitchen


The kitchen space in the main upper hall is undergoing a complete renovation. Photos will be updated as the renovation is completed. The space has been fully gutted and refitted and proudly boasts a modern large cooker range, crockery and cutlery for 100 places, an urn, a large professional sink unit, extensive worktop space for food/drink preparation.
